It's been a long time since the popular anime franchise appeared on the big screen in the United States, with Digimon: The Movie making its theatrical debut in the U. It was what I grew up with, though I did watch many reruns of Adventure season 1 as a kid and it remains my second favourite Digimon series after Tamers. Now, if they had the rights to Saban's music, and it was full on or even mostly the nostalgic music, the theme, fight songs, Maybe not Hey Digimon, I don't think that would really fit with tri, but a few others wouldn't have been bad I would have been fine.

Having gotten used to the Japanese version it was a little while to get used to the english dub good thing they offer the japanese version as well and I'm really happy they have butterfly in the dubs opening. I was also mildly disappointed by MetalGreymon's voice being basically the same as Greymon now, for all 2 seconds we hear him speak. I'm looking forward to seeing the other parts can't wait! While I was a bit excited to see a few minutes from the third movie though they really amounted to nothing at all , I went with my brother, who, while as big of a Digimon fan as I am, doesn't keep up with the anime scene at large.
