Thanks I had injector driver module code the other day and after trouble shooting wiring weither it was chafed or what not I couldn't find anything. So it's from the front 2468 on the driver side lefthead and 1357 on the Passenger right cyl he … ad. To make it easier remove the under valve cover harness. It has a 10mm bolt securing it. The inj have 2 hold down 8mm bolts only remove the one closes to the turbo. With the connector off you can see how it is mounted up inside. First remove valve cover on the side you are replacing. Except ofcourse good mechanics -- we know what's right. Now off the the other side??? Install to bore making sure it's all the way down If you cant start the hold down bolt it's not all the way down If you can start the bolt it will aide in pulling down the injector tighten to spec.
Their is a paper telling you where they go the pink one's a little tricky be carefull with that one. It will take a while to start because all the oil and fuel was drained from the rails. How easy is it replace the injectors and or the driver module? This warranty applies to product used under normal operating conditions and service. The new injectors will need to be o'ringed just make sure they are in the right slot. Their is a series of really small 5mm bolts along the crease a few 10mm bolts further inside wheel well and don't forget to remove the 2 plastic push pins underneath around the left lower corner of the door if these are not removed it makes your life much more difficult.
The scan revealed that there was a problem with injector driver module has an issue. Using screw drivers and some patience drop down the rear portion closest to the door and pull back and look up. If anyone tells you otherwise they are 100% wrongand if its a mechanic get your keys and take your vehicle somewhereelse cause a good mechanic knows this. The 1996 has a larger non-wastegated turbocharger, while the 1999 is wastegated. How in the heck do you get that back valve cover bolt back in? Good luck it's a little tricky but can be done in an hr or two for first timers. It's similar to the pcm connector. Any help would be great.

The parts guy said it could be the driver or most likely a problem with an injector. To do this their are two plugs in the head in between the injectors. No need to remove the one by the exhaust manifold.

Now this is a very very important step!!!! Under the driver side valve cover second one back from the front ofthe motor. It's a harness that electrically controls the injectors and glo … w plugs. It doesn't need to be completely removed. O Ya their is also an oil squirter you will need to install to the new injector its on the old one it's alumminum you can do that last after the injector is installed.
